INVISTA Antron® carpet fibre - Toast of the Town
United Kingdo®m, 1 December 2007 – - INVISTA, Antron® carpet fibre has ensured Westbond Carpets has made a real splash at Diageo's west London headquarters.
The combination of striking aesthetic flexibility and lasting good looks offered by Antron® carpet fibre allowed Westbond to successful fulfil the wide ranging flooring requirements in Diageo's headquarters. Meeting rooms were required to be individually themed around the brands owned by the Diageo Group, and thanks to the extensive colour and design palettes offered by Westbond's Antron® carpet fibre collections, they could equally deliver the perfect solution for the corporate gym on the first floor, stairways and the goods-in room.
Westbond's Flex Creator facility, which allows designers to choose from any combination of 160 colours, all in Antron® carpet fibre, from orders as little as one-m2, ensured the perfect carpet colourway fit with one of Diageo's most popular brands - Guinness, a theme that was carried through a number of meeting rooms and which accurately colour co-coordinated the existing point of sale for this much loved beer.
Westbond Carpet in Antron® was also used to furnish the first floor gym, where resistance to foot traffic and the ability to reduce sound transference to offices below were prerequisites for the flooring to be specified.
For the stairways and goods-in room, specified Solid Connections - a loop pile product ideal for use in high wear areas which again highlighted the design flexibility of INVISTA, Antron® carpet fibre.
Utilising the performance benefits of INVISTA, Antron® carpet fibre, both N9000 and Solid Connections will deliver the Diageo Group a high performance flooring option that will retain the aesthetics so critical in the meeting rooms, while providing the stairways, gym and goods-in areas with a carpet able to withstand the high levels of footfall expected.
