How was it Developed?

Years of INVISTA research have identified 4 key factors that contribute the most to the soil-resisting capabilities of carpet. These four key factors include colour, pattern, texture and fibre. By assigning performance ratings for each factor, a soil rating can be calculated for each carpet.

The soil performance ratings were derived though testing carpets made of INVISTA fibre, including Antron®, along with a number of competitive carpets. These carpets were subjected to the same level of foot traffic and wear patterns. Then, by taking Delta E measurements, the level of colour change was determined for each sample.
