Antron® Nylon

What It Is:

Antron® Nylon is a type 6,6 trilobal, cross-section nylon available as BCF (bulked continuous filament) and staple. It offers a wide variety of fibre deniers (sizes), lustres and dyabilities that can be styled to any colour and manufactured into virtually any carpet construction. Carpets of Antron® nylon can cover the design spectrum from solid colour cut piles to textured loop piles and patterns, and are certified to meet minimum performance criteria for commercial buildings.

When To Use:

Specify Antron® Nylon if your project requirements include:

  • Maximum styling flexibility
  • Exposure to moderate to heavy foot traffic levels
  • Dry soiling is a maintenance concern

Specify Antron® with DuPont™ Teflon® carpet protector built-in stain resistance if, in addition to the above, your specification calls for:

  • Frequent spills and stains as the primary maintenance concern
