Soil Resistance
Antron® provides soil resistance and soil release superior to all competitive fibres.
The following test results demonstrate the superiority of Antron® Legacy™** versus competitive carpet of nylon when subjected to foot traffic in a busy school environment. The carpets shown are of equivalent construction and were maintained with daily vacuuming.

Actual floor performance proves the superior soil resistance of Antron® Legacy™** nylon.
A photomicrograph shows the impact of fibre engineering on soil resistance. The unique fibre shape exclusive to Antron® nylon has less area for soil to get trapped.

| This carpet is made with a mill-extruded type 6 nylon with a trilobal fibre shape. Although the grooves do not appear deep, dry soil is deposited in the grooves and is trapped. | The square, four hole hollow filament shape of Antron® nylon has only a small amount of surface area. The smooth outside with rounded corners means there are no grooves to collect and trap soil. The four holes, which run the entire length of the fibre, scatter light to make soil less visible. | |

| Noticeable soil remains on the trilobal fibre after vacuuming. | Only minimal soil remains on the Antron® nylon after vacuuming. |
